What time will the ceremony start?
The ceremony will start at 1:00 pm. We advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find a seat. The doors will remain closed starting at 1:00 pm during the procession for about 10 minutes.
What should we do during the time gap between the ceremony and reception?
We will have an optional "social hour" for those who are coming from Green Bay with non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, and mariachi. For those staying close to the venue, feel free to relax at your hotel or come to the venue's barn for the pre-dinner social hour. Our wedding website includes a list of nearby attractions to help you pass the time.
Will the ceremony be unplugged?
Yes, we ask that you please put your phone away and set it to silent mode during the ceremony. We will have a photographer taking pictures, which you will have access to after the wedding.
Are children allowed at the wedding?
This will be a child-free wedding with some exceptions, including the flower girl and immediate family members of the bride and groom.
What’s the dress code?
The dress code is formal and modest. The bridal party will be wearing navy blue, so we advise you to avoid wearing that color to prevent any confusion.
What if I want to buy a registry item from a different vendor?
You can purchase the registry item from any vendor of your choice. Once you've made the purchase go into our registry website and mark as purchased. This ensures there are no duplicate gifts.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’ve thoughtfully curated our guest list to include our closest friends and family. As such, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We’ll be serving a buffet-style dinner featuring a selection of Mexican and American cuisine. There will be a late-night taco dinner for those still dancing the night away after 10 pm.
Will there be vegetarian/vegan options available?
Absolutely! We’ve included vegetarian and vegan dishes on our menu. Each dish will be appropriately labeled for those with dietary restrictions such as vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.
Where is the venue?
Kewaunee Heritage Center. The venue is a 14-minute drive from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Will there be an open bar?
There will not be an open bar, and no alcohol is allowed at our venue. This will be a dry wedding, and we ask that you not bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. There will be a variety of fun non-alcoholic drinks available.
